Gianni Riccamboni is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Padova, where he also served as Dean of the Faculty of Political Science from 2008 to 2011. His research focuses on political elites, electoral behaviour, political culture, political parties, and political regulation. He has been actively involved in the Italian political science community, serving in leadership roles within the Società Italiana di Scienza Politica and as President of the Società Italiana di Studi Elettorali. His work combines empirical analysis of political dynamics with a strong interest in the transformation of political representation and participation.
